It is not good to clean the pooja room and pooja saman. According to our Hindu rituals, it is very sacred to worship God on the Day of Unity. When you worship God and the family deity (Kula Deivam) on the Amavasy Day, it helps to bring good luck, wealth, peace and happiness in your life.

It is one of the best days to worship God, so it is not good to clean the Pooja Room or Pooja Saman. Clean the Pooja Room and Pooja saman before the Amavasay. So, the next day you will be able to worship the Lord unholy.

When to Clean Pooja Room & Pooja Saman?

Pooja room and Pooja Saman is a good day, for the next day for the amavasay called Paattamai . Thursday is usually best to clean the Pooja Room and Pooja Saman.

When not to Clean Pooja Room & Pooja Saman?

· Avoid cleaning the pooja room or pooja saman on Tuesday.

· Avoid cleaning the pooja room or pooja saman on Friday.

· Avoid cleaning the pooja room or pooja saman on Diwali, Pongal, Pradosham, Shivarathri

· Avoid cleaning the pooja room or pooja saman in the days of Amavasya or Pournami.
